A Box Full Of Positivity

Our little sprout is heading to the hospital on Friday to see if they can work out what's going on with him. He's been struggling the last three weeks or so, more so than normal, with some "funny turns" and strange collapsing. We don't want anyone to worry. He's a battler as you know. We just want to get to the bottom of all this and see if we can help him.

I thought about doing this a while ago and I am really kicking myself that I didn't do it sooner...BUT...I am going to make Noah a "Box Full of Positivity" for his room at the hospital and at home. So if you can please help, click on the "Leave a Positive Message" link to the left of this post and write a note, poem. joke, prayer or anything positive for Noah. I hope that your vibes will help him through on the next stage of his tough journey and bring him some more smiles.

Thankyou so much!
Kat and Mark xxx

  3. Hello Noah. We've never met, though I feel like I know you, as I often get to hear stuff about you through your Mums facebook page.

I can tell what a top little dude you are from the cool pictures we've seen. And you are easily the bravest person I've ever heard off in the whole world. Maybe you should think about being a Superhero when you get older..? Or perhaps for now you could keep an eye out for all the other brave kids you'll meet at Hospital this time.
Theres no doubt you're a strong boy. SUPER strong. But I'm sure sometimes even superheros' need a big cuddle, so make sure you get lots of those too. And you know who loves cuddles....yeh Mummy and Daddy!

Keep strong super boy. You have hundreds of fans all over the world.

  4. The Lord is my shepherd.
He gives me everything I need.
He lets me rest in green pastures.
He leads me to quiet pools of water.
He gives me new strength when I am tired.
Because of His goodness, He always leads me along the right path.
Even in the darkest valley I am not afraid. No evil can come to me.
Your shepherd's rod and staff make me feel safe.
You give me delicious food even when there is danger around me.
You bless me. I have more than I could ever hold.
Your goodness and love will stay with me all the days of my life.
And I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Stay strong little sheep- Your father in heaven will provide you and your family with everything you need.

  8. Beans beans are good for your heart.
The more you eat the more you parp.
The more you parp the better you feel.
So lets eat beans with every meal.

If that doesn't put a smile on your face, break out the custard pies, banana skins and slap stick.

  9. Hey little man

I'm thinking of you & your wonderful Mum & Dad from 1/2 way round the world in chilly Denmark, where the snow is falling softly & we are making snowmen & going sledding down the hill - you're gonna be fine & one day when your old enough to hassle Mum & Dad they are going to take you to the snow somewhere & you will be throwing snowballs with the best of them!

    Love Sair xx

  10. I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

  11. Hello sweetheart.. This is a special song that I sang once for you and your amazing Mummy. Remember to smile :)

Smile, though your heart is aching
    Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
    You'll get by...

    If you smile
    With your fear and sorrow
    Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
    If you just...

Light up your face with gladness
    Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
    If you just...

Smile, though your heart is aching
    Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
    You'll get by...

    If you smile
    Through your fear and sorrow
    Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
    If you just smile...

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
    If you just smile

Sent straight from heaven up above
Came an angel for me to love
To hold and rock and kiss good night
To wrap my arms around real tight

To cuddle & nurture and watch him play
To kiss his boo-boo's all away
To keep him safe and warm & count all his toes
To hold the tissue for him when he blows his little nose

To laugh at his jokes, to clap as he sings
To tell him all the joy in my life that he brings
To clean up his play dough, to pull his legos apart
To pin up his drawings and tell him it's art

To watch his first day of school on the bus all alone
To fight back the tears as I make my way back home
To applaud real loud when he's in his first play
To help him with his homework at the end of his day

To adore & cherish and watch him grow
To guide and teach him all that I know
To see him through good times & help him through bad
To share in his happiness and cry when he's sad

To hold him close and be by his side
To watch him through life as my heart fills with pride
To help him with decisions, the best that I can
To know that someday he'll be a fine young man

This is my prayer for you and little Noah,
    xxx rachel

  15. Hi Noah!
We hope you feel better soon. Sending you a nice short story for you, Mummy and Daddy during this tough time.

    Kissing It Better
(You and Me - Stories to Share, Fernleigh Books)

When I hurt myself there is only one remedy that will make it all better.

It's not the soothing lotion that smells of soft lavender.

Or the special plaster with bright pictures....

Or my favourite toy that usually cheers me up....

The only thing that will make it better is when Mummy or Daddy come and kiss the hurt away.
They pick me up in their arms and cuddle me tight.
They make me feel safe and warm....
    Suddenly I feel much better!

    The End.

(we would of sent The Animal Orchestra that I used to love love love reading to Lucie, my 26 weeker....but it appears to of vanished....maybe Lucie hid it so her mummy would stop singing it! ;0).

Much love, strength and positive thoughts being sent your way.

    Leigh, David and Lucie

  19. Hey handsome man,
Just been chatting to your Mummy, she made a very good point that coming from a Bolton lass you were bound to be trouble! I have also spotted that you had to have pies in the name of what is wrong with you! :)You are Northern through and through!
Being a Northern Lad, corssed with Ozzie, I know you are strong! I can't wait to see you again and spend time playing ball and feeding the ducks! We will have a friend here for you to play with too :)
